liberated the Republic of Venice, bringing an end to the oppressive rule of the Serenissima and dismantling one of the principal strongholds of aggression against the Empire.

The campaign unfolded with remarkable speed. Imperial banners first rose above Verona, whose annexation secured a critical gateway into the Venetian mainland territories. When Imperial forces arrived at the lagoon city, the regime that had turned Venice into a military base for aggression and oppression quickly crumbled. Oriente, once so eager to start a war against the Empire, fled in panic and is now said to be hiding aboard a ship somewhere in the Adriatic Sea.

The axis of evil that started this war (composed of the Republic of Venice, the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, and their Turkish allies) probably had expected a swift victory. A fast invasion on multiple fronts to pressure the Empire in submission. Instead, they encountered a unified and determined Imperial response. Imperial armies advanced methodically, pushing back across multiple fronts and forcing the enemy generals into retreat. With Venice now under Imperial control and its castle expected to fall on Monday, as respect for the mass on Sunday, the strategic balance of the war has shifted dramatically.

With the fall of the dictatorship, Venice is no longer a fortress aimed against the Empire. Imperial authorities have emphasized that the objective of the campaign was not the destruction of the city but its liberation. For years, the Venetian regime transformed the city’s wealth and strategic position into instruments of war. Now, freed from the hostile ambitions of its former rulers, Venice may once again prosper as a center of commerce, culture, and trade rather than a base for military aggression.
