06/02/1473 International Spotlight: An Interview with Letyzia from Ireland
![]() Kingdoms Associated Press - London, England The International KAP offices have been active, and a recent right-to-reply caught our attention due to its relevance to local affairs. International Office Statement In her response, Letyzia raised concerns about the reporting methods used by the "Great Ambassador," stating that testimonies from individuals in Chonnacht were collected anonymously, despite her own awareness of the contributors’ identities. She further claimed that the names of those who had voiced concerns were later made public. Among those she referenced were Ladyluck, a former mayor of Baile Átha Luain, Father Zeakman, and a man named Jmelizar. Original Announcement KAP Article In her response, Letyzia criticized the methods used by the "Great Ambassador," stating that testimonies from individuals in Chonnacht were gathered anonymously, despite her being aware of their identities. She further claimed that the names of those who raised concerns were later made public. Among those she mentioned were long time Irish citizens, Ladyluck, former mayor of Baile Átha Luain, Father Zeakman, and a man named Jmelizar. Letyzia also addressed her arrival in Chonnacht, noting that she came with the clan known as The Scourge. Historical records indicate that they arrived in early 1472. Shortly thereafter, she took control of the Great College of Arms of Ireland before moving on to An Gort, where she later assumed the mayorship. In light of these developments, we reached out to Letyzia for further clarification and look forward to sharing her insights with our readers. ✍️ KAP What led you to Ireland? What was it about that island so far from home that drew you to settle there? Letyzia "My real home I left in August 1463, the city of Silvi, in the Province of Abruzzi. That is and will forever remain my home. Over the years I have had several residences that I have never considered home but mere temporary abodes. Ireland was not in my plans, as I had other things in mind, and in fact, I came last to these lands accepting after several invitations to come here. " ✍️ KAP In the right to reply, you mentioned Ladyluck and suggested she did not “stay in her place.” At the time, was she the legally recognized mayor of the town? Records show she won the election on 17/10/1472 against a candidate named Colin, but there was a revolt on 11/11/1472, before the next legal elections. Could you share your perspective on these events and whether they were connected to concerns about the mayor’s role? Letyzia "I personally contacted Ladyluck, although I knew she was friends with Steel Legion. In fact, we showed her that we were aware of a letter sent by her, where she asked for help from her friends to come to Ireland to give us trouble. What we asked of Ladyluck was simply to warn her that new citizens were coming and that as mayor, she had to issue the taxes that the majority of the council, elected by vote, had decided to have each town hall issue, to make all citizens cooperate. She refused, because she felt she owned that city, starting with threats and then forming an army that was immediately destroyed. That is why she was then dismissed in the immediate aftermath when she tried to rise to mayor." Document found in Cúige Chonnacht Inn ✍️ KAP In it, you also raised concerns about Father Zeakman and financial matters within the diocese he once led. Could you clarify if there is evidence that he misused or misappropriated funds? Also, who was part of the diocesan council at the time when these financial issues arose? Were the churches receiving enough donations and confessions to support their obligations, including the 500-pound tax payment every four months? Letyzia Zeakman and his group, they have been in Ireland for a long time, so several pieces of evidence are lost (the system erases them) but when we took over the diocese the coffers were in the negative and considering that city for years has been theirs, considering their hostility, their not cooperating with anyone, I have no doubt about that. Also, Zeakman confessed that he is Ladyluck's lover, since he is the father of her child. Words spoken by him in the Irish court. If they really were good people and loved Ireland as they say they do, they wouldn't leave the cash in the negative, given all the money they have, would they? ✍️ KAP Additionally, our readers would love to hear your take on Ireland’s decision to declare war on France. Could you share your insights on what led to this momentous decision? Letyzia "First of all, it is not ONE making war but the Kingdom of Ireland. This I would like to point out since many people say that ONE is making war. ONE is an organization , it is not the Kingdom of Ireland. There are people who are not ONE in Ireland, so it is not correct to ettiche them in this way. Regarding the reasons and why, you can find it written on the document below, as it is a document signed by myself as well. I think it explains in the best way all our reasons as a Kingdom as to why we declared war." |
