The end of the First Round of Monarchy selection has concluded. The KAP endeavored to bring everyone interviews on each of the candidates and will continue to cover the results, so please keep your eyes out!

For this round we have seen Candidates for the Monarch, Julianna Bariman Taldus and Zulita Palidor Westbrooke Dorchester move forward to another round of selection. Monarch Candidate Destrian Blackwell, despite seeming to have his new home county of Sussex securely behind him, came short of one quarter of the support cast in the succession. Meanwhile Monarch Candidates Vivienne Phoenix de Grey and Cerculetze de Burgess Hill, gained a modest amount of support themselves.

Candidate for Queen Julianna Bariman Taldus currently has the lead after the first round of the selection with nearly one half of the support cast. However with less than one half, the selection moves into a second round and during the next week we will see how much ground the Candidate for Queen Zulita Palidor Westbrooke Dorchester can gain, starting with her nearly one quarter of support cast.

When asked for a comment after the first round results, the Candidate for Queen Julianna Bariman Taldus had this to say; “I’m both surprised and grateful for all the support I received in the first round. I am thankful to everyone who voted for me in the first round and who are considering voting for me in the second round. I’ve learned a lot from my fellow candidates and I appreciated some of their ideas. I hope to see them continue to be involved in the community regardless of the outcome of the election.”

When asked for comment after the first round results, Candidate for Queen Zulita Palidor Westbrooke Dorchester had this to say; "It has been an exciting and thrilling journey as we campaign for the throne, and I have appreciated having the opportunity to answer your questions, hear your concerns, and get to know you more personally. It is humbling to see the support we have received in the first round, and I want to thank those who voted for us and have helped us in this endeavor in other ways. As we move forward, I will strive to continue gaining England’s faith and trust."
